1. Acceptance of Terms
By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into agreements.
2. Services Offered
Kachumbari Travel Tours provides a platform for booking travel-related services, including flights, hotels and car rentals. All bookings are subject to availability.
3. Strictly No Cash Transactions
- All payments must be made via MPESA Paybill Number: 247247, Account Number: 911115.
A booking is only confirmed once full payment has been received through the above channels.
Please ensure you receive an official confirmation receipt via SMS or email after payment.
4. Train Booking Fee:
- Booking the SGR train without including our transfer services will attract a booking facilitation fee of Ksh 200 per person.
5. Seat Charges for Children:
- Children aged 4 years and above are required to pay for a seat at full fare.
6. Non-Refundable Policy:
- Once a booking is confirmed and paid, it is non-refundable and non-transferable to another date, time, or person.
7. Rescheduling
Kachumbari Travel Tours does not permit rescheduling once payment is made. Please confirm all travel details before payment.
8. Late Arrivals:
- Passengers must report to our office or designated pickup point at least 30 minutes before departure. No-shows will not be refunded or rescheduled.
9. Confirmation Required:
Kindly confirm your travel date and time with our office before departure.
10. No Smoking or Alcohol:
- Smoking and consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited onboard our vehicles.
11. Behavioral Expectations:
- We reserve the right to refuse service to any client engaging in unruly, disrespectful, or violent behavior towards staff or fellow passengers.
12. Transfer Timing:
- We do our best to adhere to all scheduled timings, but Kachumbari Travel Tours is not liable for delays due to traffic, mechanical issues, or unforeseen circumstances.
13. Missed Connections:
- We are not responsible for missed flights or train connections if a client fails to report on time or provide accurate travel details.
14. Shared Transfers:
- For shared transfers, passengers may be grouped and dropped off at multiple stops en route.
15. Travel Insurance:
- Clients are encouraged to take personal travel insurance. Kachumbari Travel Tours is not responsible for loss or damage of personal property.
16. Force Majeure:
- We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics).
17. Advance Booking Required:
- All services must be booked in advance. Walk-in bookings are subject to availability.
18. Availability Disclaimer:
- All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
19. Group Bookings:
- For group travel (5 people or more), special terms may apply. Please contact us in advance.
20. Special Requests
- Any special requests (dietary needs, medical conditions, seat preferences) should be communicated at least 48 hours before travel. While we try our best, we cannot guarantee the fulfillment of all requests.
21. Updates and Changes
- Policy Changes: Kachumbari Travel Tours reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
